Freudian Slips

noun A word or phrase that refers to a person, place, thing, event, substance, or quality.

preposition A word governing, and usually preceding, a noun or pronoun and expressing a relation to another word or element in the clause.

article A word that is used with a noun to specify grammatical definiteness of the noun, and in some languages extending to volume or numerical scope.

• During the presentation, the speaker made a slip of the tongue and accidentally mispronounced a key term.
• I didn't mean to say that, it was just a slip of the tongue.
• Oops, that was a total tongue slip.
• Her words came out in a jumble, like a slip of the tongue in a foreign language.
